LECTURING
With a wealth of industry experience and a world renowned design signature, Úna now gives industry talks and works as a visiting lecturer at universities across the UK, Ireland and beyond. These institutions include the Royal College of Art, London College of Fashion, University of Northampton, DeMontfort Uni, NCAD (Dublin), SoFA Design Institue (Manila), Limerick School of Art and Design, Sheffield Hallam University, University of the Arts Bournemouth, Norwich University of the Arts, University of Brighton & Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge).
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Úna regularly speaks at Design Festivals, Entrepreneurship Conferences and Craft Summits.
To date, these have included OFFSET LONDON, DUBLIN FESTIVAL OF DESIGN, FASHION FUTURES - WHERE BUSINESS MEETS DESIGN (ISTANBUL), OFFSET LIMERICK, NATIONAL WOMEN'S ENTERPRISE DAY - THE ROAD TO SUCCESS (GALWAY), OFFSET DUBLIN, LILY LOLLY CRAFTFEST NORTHWEST (SLIGO), ELECTRIC PICNIC (STRADBALLY) and THE TREND BOUTIQUE CONFERENCE IN LONDON.
Úna has also officially opened several national and international Design Festivals and exhibitions and promotes design on an international platform in collaboration with the British Council, travelling to the Philippines to judge the 'Look of Style Awards' in 2013 and speaking at the international fashion convention 'Fashion Future: Where Business Meets Design', held in Bilgi University, Istanbul in 2014.
