Epaulette Holster, Worn in The Bold Type
This piece has been created by the joining of two of our most popular military based styles; our epaulette shoulders and our shoulder holster. The version in the images attached is made from our elbamatt leather, a firm vegetable tanned leather with a slightly flexible oily pull-up finish. It can alternatively be made from our milled cowhide in either Black or in Merlot, both of which has even more flexibility while still retaining the structured forms. With its sculptural aesthetic this piece could be worn casually with a simple shirt or shirt-dress, or else it could be styled with loose flowing cloths, as Rihanna and Janet Jackson have done with their shoulder holsters, resulting in great contrast of textures.
Completely hand crafted in our little leather atelier in the west of Ireland, this piece will be made especially for you from the finest British and Italian vegetable tanned cow hides and joined with solid brass fittings which are coated with tones of either gold, silver or gunmetal. Please specify your preference of fitting colour when placing your order.
